Jasper Strohkark is Associate at b2venture, working in the Direct Investments Team. Born and raised in Hamburg, Jasper has a Bachelor of Science in Media Management from the HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Amsterdam.

He served as Advisor to the COO and later the executive team of a global media agency, before turning towards the startup ecosystem with his Master’s program in Entrepreneurship, where he focused on environmental science and engineering.

“After initially being drawn to the creative industry, I decided to go in the direction of technology, because I realized that was where there was a huge opportunity to solve major societal and environmental challenges and keep Europe moving through innovation.”

He gained early experience at a pre-seed venture capital fund, which supported the startups of students and recent graduates with funding, a community of young founders and a network of experts. 

‍

After a stint at Adyen working to develop leadership initiatives and supporting the Adyen Accelerator program for impact startups, Jasper joined b2venture in September of 2023.

Jasper is a passionate scuba diver, photographer, and lover of the outdoors. When not working to help fund Europe’s next moonshot investment in deep tech, climate tech, the life sciences, or outer space, Jasper can usually be found exploring the ocean floor or living in a camper out in the desert, looking for the perfect shot of whatever he turns his camera towards.
