Valentin is an Analyst in the Direct Investments team based in our Munich office. He joined b2venture after stints at Accenture and HV Capital and works across our investment and finance teams to ensure smooth investing activity with our angel community.

Born and raised in Ulm as the youngest of three, Valentin grew up in a household where education and intercultural exchange were held in high esteem. “Having the opportunity to spend some time abroad in Canada, France, and the UK, definitely broadened my horizon and molded my personality.”

Valentin studied Business Management and Economics at the University of Würzburg and received his Master of Science in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich. 

“I’ve worked across corporates, consulting, and startups, and the dynamism of entrepreneurship is where I feel most at home. I love the variety of topics you have to cover as a venture investor.”

Valentin has been passionate about sports from a young age on. He was a thrilled Handball player in his youth and often on the road for the sport. “You learn a lot about teamwork and discipline when you’re serious about sport at a young age, and I am very grateful for that experience.”

Nowadays you will find Valentin training for a marathon or competing with friends on the basketball or tennis court.

Valentin has particular interest in the fields of FinTech, DeepTech and ClimateTech Investments.

In his free time, Valentin enjoys watching football or NBA games, but can also be found hiking, skiing, or riding his vintage road bike.
