Fabian serves as General Counsel & Compliance Officer at b2venture, bringing a wealth of experience in guiding founders, early-stage startups, scale ups, and corporates through all things legal and tax-related.

Born in a small town in Germany and raised in Brazil, Fabian made Berlin his home in 2012. “Berlin’s vibe always fascinated me and still makes it one of my favorite cities. For me, this also makes Berlin a perfect incubator for a thriving startup ecosystem.”

Fabian studied Law at the University of Heidelberg and has developed a deep enthusiasm for supporting founders and startups from the very start of his professional journey. “To me, venture capital is the passion for creating value and actively contributing to the growth of exceptional ideas.”

When he's not deep into contracts and structure charts, Fabian loves to travel, enjoys good food, and spending time with his wife and family. Fabian is fluent in German, English and Portuguese and speaks some Spanish.

Fabian is a fully qualified lawyer in Germany and certified tax advisor. He is also the author of various publications on venture capital and tax law.

Before joining b2venture, Fabian worked as a lawyer and tax advisor at the law offices Raue and Noerr, two leading legal advisors in Germany. Most recently, he was heading the legal and tax department of early-stage biotech venture capital fund Apollo Health Ventures.
